l have 7 so far: Underwater hairdryer glass hammer solar
powered torch electric powered battery smoke alarm with a snooze
button a spy-hole in a window waterproof tea bag l do not
really want ''Real'' inventions that YOU think are useless, like a Dyson
vacuum cleaner.
A flashing light on a telephone to tell deaf people when it is
ringing.
I think the top one should be the ash tray for the motorcycle.
there are solar powered torches as the sun charges an internal battery.
There are already smoke alarms with a hush/snooze buttons in many houses.
there are a glass hammers on most private hire coaches and fire exits.

I once had some soft brown plastic substance that was a product
of a research lab, you could roll this into a ball and drop it so it would
bounce back to your hand, but if you left it lying on a flat surface it
would melt down and flow away like a liquid so you had to keep it in a
bottle or jar, then someone left it out and it flowed away never to be
seen again, it had no name but it was pretty useless and no application
for it was ever found
